About

My first graphic comic, "Pots & Pans", features a fantastical family in Queens, including a Chinese grandmother who replaces a leg lost to gangrene with a frying pan; Aunt Lola, who collects boxes of Marlboro cigarette cases for UPC codes; and many more grotesquely charming characters. The family is seen through the whimsical eyes of a little Chinese girl who likes to play drums on pots and pans.

My newest graphic comic called "The Wife Hunter" is a delicious story about a young man named Takafumi from Toyama, Japan. Takafumi, much like his "wife hunter" friends, wait at busy train stations soliciting lonely housewives for wild orgies. It is a tale full of cow milk and rotting persimmons. Enjoy!

A little bit about me. I have an MFA in creative writing at The City College of New York where I was a recipient of The Jerome Lowell DeJur Award. My fiction and art have both appeared in Guernica, A Magazine of Art & Politics, The Agriculture Reader, Kill Author, Storyglossia Short Story Month, and is forthcoming in InDigest Magazine.
